Born
in Haifa, Israel in 1975 to Moroccan parents. Since childhood Nissim has been passionate about three main things: Middle Eastern & Moroccan music, acting and martial arts & mysticism from the Far East. As a kid Nissim would listen to Middle Eastern music, delighting in it's magnificence and essence. At age 20 Nissim begun Darbuka lessons (Arabic hand-drum) with Salem Darwish, a local Arab musician from the Galil. Now he studies with Lebanese born percussionist Souhail Kaspar in LA and Oud (Middle eastern lute) with Lebanese musician Elias Lammam. As for acting, Nissim was always fond of impersonating successfully entertaining and amusing his friends and family. Nissim studied acting at Monterey Peninsula College under Peter De- bono. Nissim traveled extensively through the Far East, studying massage techniques, healing, martial arts, meditation and Zen. He currently studies Acting, Hypnotherapy and Music in LA and practices Chi Qong and Tai Chi. Nissim's approach to life is of a holistic nature emphasizing on collaborating between the spiritual and the practical. Landmark Education is a large part of his life where he learns communication skills, deep listening and is empowered in living life from possibility. |
